ASIMO short for Asmimov the father of the three laws of robotics and author of I, ROBOT. I am disabled and I would love to have one, where can I get one and how much? I probably would have to win the lottery first. ASIMO means something else than Asimov, I was just showing how close the name and the reality of the author's story has come true to life in our world today. Asimo has the eyes and such that he described in his story, I, ROBOT.

Asimo actually stands for Advanced Step in Innovative MObility. And Asimo isn't ready for sale.... yet. It's probably gonna cost a whole mansion. And probably it'll be up for sale in about 10 or 20 years from now? I'm not pretty sure but ya can't buy it now, unless you're Bill Gates or something :D

does anyone else see this becoming the new front-line soldier of wars? I mean, the technology will become cheap soon enough (its getting cheaper and cheaper by the day it seems), and rich countries, I'm guessing, would perfer them as cannon fodder.
At the least, its a much perferable solider to use when it comes to checking out a building (urban warefare being as dangerous as it is).
