Ok, so, you like to take people literally, you understand what I was stating.
I will put it this way.... if you give me a list of horses that were beaten by the horses mentioned above, I am sure I will remember some. Years from now, other than Street Sense, I will not be able to remember the names of horses that Curlin beat if you were to give me a list.

Fact is godchaser! i couldn't give a monkeys what timeform rate Curlin! he got his ass kicked good style and he was beaten approx 3 lengths! thats a whuppin in my book! so read it and weep! nothing you or timeform say can alter the FACT that Ravens was improving with every race, did a job on Curlin then gets rated inferior to a horse he just wolloped!

Favourable surface, lol, You yanks make me laugh, It was Ravens & Henry's first run on that surface, What they showed is that they are adaptable, Frankly there not even our best horses!! but as usual the OVERHYPED American horse who's beaten nothing in the past gets overrated again. Guess he can only achieve 131 when drugged up to the EYEBALLS!!!!

all the european horses mentioned in ur timeform top 7 are 3 yr olds, curlin is 4 and had a longer career at top level...if any of those european horses trained on next yr they'd have a higher rating too!

to ahyamaguchi, raven's pass has consistently performed against one of the best horses in the world Henrythenavigator and in the later part of the season he managed to beat him twice. His last 4 performances were all high standard which for me constitutes consistency.

many of the greatest race horses of all time are american and many of your horses are american breed and were brought over to europe (henrythenavigator for example). synthetic track was considered by most to be beneficial to turn runners which curlin was not.

Over a year, haha guess Lasix isn't a drug as well then! What exactly has Curlin beaten to justify a rating of 134, All i know is he's had his arse kicked by average european horses, Red Rock(OMG),Ravens & Henry hardly superstars and probably won't even be rated 130, A horse needs to prove his rating is justified, not beat donkeys then get a overhyped rating which he can't live upto. We where certain over here that he was hyped up, his price opened up at 5/2.

Timeform no.1 or winner of the $5m Breeders Cup Classic? No brainer that. Scant consolation for fluffing his lines when it really mattered me thinks. People will remember him being upstaged by Ravens's Pass a lot longer than they'll remember his timeform rating. Factamundo that.

I believe Zarkava has the strongest from for 2008. She slammed Goldikova at 1m breaking the french 1000 guineas record at a canter and then wins the arc beatin multiple group 1 winners without being shown the whip. Two excellent performances at trips at different ends of the stamina scale. You will be lucky to see a better race horse in your life time letalone a filly

No Curlin lost, fair loss. Raven won. Curlin lost. Raven won. Raven beat Curlin, and another horse did too. they were faster and its time you would accept it. I know its hard inda how I feel about Big Brown winning the Derby and Eight Belles loosing. Even though I kinda have evidence on Eight Belles loss I have to accept the loss, but that is not the loss. Its the death. Just be happy that your precious Curlin is still alive!!!!
